The windows of the heavens opened at 2:20 p.m. Sunday, July 25, and the water pounded and gushed over our home on the Isles of Capri. At 3:30 our five inch rain gauge held 4.5 inches of that water and the street in front of our house had become a river. But, no boats plied that river and no fishermen pursued their favorite pastime.
